South Coast Film & Video prides itself as being a "hands-on" company. When we rent equipment, it's with the knowledge that the gear works well under varying conditions. You get our more than 20 years of experience when our crews or equipment are with you. That's an added bonus when you're from out of town or shooting in an unfamiliar area. We want your experience to be pleasant and painless.


CREW


A lighting cameraperson and audio technician are provided with each one of our camera packages. We try to match personalities and styles to the best of our ability. Whether it's news, commercials, corporate, training or documentary, you'll have the right personnel to get the job done properly.


RENTALS


We offer a variety of equipment rentals from location and studio production packages to individual equipment. Almost all equipment rentals are for a twenty-four hour period. We allow pickups after 5:00 PM the day before and returns by 9:00 AM on the date due. We're on call if anything goes wrong with your equipment rental or if you have a problem interfacing other gear. And as always, the main number is answered by a human voice, not a recording!


STUDIO


We have a 35' by 55', 2200 square foot shooting stage. A two wall hard corner infinity cyc, measuring 28' by 26' and 14' tall occupies one side of the stage (VIEW QTVR) and a two wall black cyc curtain, same dimensions, covers the other. We can provide over 140 amps of 110 voltage for lighting and equipment.


LOCATION


720p HD, BetacamSP, DV Cam,  16mm or 35mm location packages are available from South Coast any time day or night and for travel to anyplace in the world. Underwater, underground, aerials or just plain land based shooting can be accomplished by one phone call. The North Sea, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean Basin are all ports of call for South Coast crews. Language and passports are no problem. South Coast can place crews in any region for your project. Have camera will travel.
